COVID-19 Update: We are currently recruiting volunteers for Meal Assistance only. Extensive training and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. This is a great opportunity to help create a pleasurable dining experience and enhance quality of life for residents in long-term care.
We will continue to accept applications for other positions, but individuals may not be contacted for an interview until COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. For more immediate volunteer opportunities in our community, we recommend visiting www.volunteerottawa.ca

Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. At the interview, we will provide a letter so you can complete a Police Record Check for Service with the Vulnerable Sector. Volunteers under 18 years of age are required to complete an offence declaration, signed by a parent or guardian. You will complete a Tuberculosis Screening Assessment and we will conduct references checks. Please note, all new volunteers must attend a 3.5-hour orientation session and commit to a minimum three months of volunteer service (except for the Summer Youth Program in July and August).
